What CSS framework do you use to create WordPress websites?
All websites that we create now are created using the Tailwind CSS Framework as its the best CSS Framework currently available. However if you have a site created using Bootstrap or no framework we are happy to help.
What theme framework do you use for creating WordPress websites?
We either create a website using our own base theme at https://github.com/signalfire/wp-base-tailwind or we use a rock solid theme base called Sage from Roots.io which can be found at https://roots.io/sage/
Do you design websites in-house?
Apart from this website, no we don't. We use a select group of external graphic designers to create the look and feel of a website.
Do you offer a guarantee on your work?
Yes we do. If there is a bug or other error on a website we've created in the 12 months post launch we will fix it for you free of charge.
Will you update WordPress and any associated plugins on my site?
If we host your WordPress website then yes, we will do this for you for 12 months after your site is launched. However if you host elsewhere you will have to make other arrangements.
Will my site be SEO optimised?
SEO and digital marketing is an ongoing service that isn't covered by an initial build cost. However, we will, when developing your website, ensure pages are created with SEO (Technical and On-Page) in mind. For instance; all images used will have alt tags, all pages only a single H1 tag etc. All pages will be tested in the Lighthouse plugin from Google within Developer Tools to ensure that they pass the Core Web Vitals at least at 90%.

Can you host my new / existing website?
Yes, we manage our own servers and are happy to discuss your hosting requirements, whether you are a design / development customer or not. Our servers can host websites using PHP such as those based on WordPress, Laravel etc. Drop us an email at hello@signalfire.co.uk to discuss your requirements.
How do you accept payment for builds?
We charge in 3 equal payments with payment expected on production of an invoice. The final invoice must be paid within 30 days of receipt. We only accept payment via direct bank payment.
